Prêmio Bram Stoker 2015 anuncia finalistas: Clive Barker é um deles

A Associação de Escritores de Terror (Horror Writers Association) anunciou os finalistas do Prêmio Bram Stoker 2015. Os vencedores serão conhecidos no dia 14 de maio, durante o encontro de literatura de terror StokerCon, que acontece entre os dias 12 e 15 de maio, em Las Vegas (EUA).

O prêmio é um dos mais importantes do gênero no mundo. Entre os finalistas estão o mestre Clive Barker, que concorre com The Scarlet Gospels, uma sequência do livro Hellraiser, na categoria Romance.

Outro nome conhecido é o de Scott Snyder, que roteirizou a HQ American Vampire junto com Stephen King. Ele concorre na categoria melhor graphic novel, com a HQ Wytches Vol.1.

Guillermo del Toro concorre na categoria melhor roteiro cinematográfico, pela história de A Colina Escarlate (Crimson Peak), cujo roteiro foi escrito em parceria com Matthew Robbins. O criador da série de TV Penny Dreadful, John Logan, concorre com os roteiros de dois episódios da segunda temporada da série: The Nightcomers (terceiro episódio) e And Hell Itself my only Foe (nono episódio).
